About the cIUCC

The Confederation of Indian Urban and Civic Chambers (cIUCC) serves as a catalyst for transformative urban development in India. As a non-partisan, multi-stakeholder platform, cIUCC unites policymakers, civic leaders, industry experts, and citizens to address critical urban challenges and drive meaningful change.

Our vision is to build inclusive, accessible, and sustainable cities where every citizen benefits from equitable opportunities and robust urban governance. Through strategic dialogue and evidence-based advocacy, cIUCC strives to advance urban policies that prioritize social equity, city resilience, and sustainable growth.

Founded by a coalition of urban planners, civic activists, and thought leaders, cIUCC has emerged as a central forum for stakeholder engagement and collaborative action. Our history is marked by impactful initiatives, policy dialogues, and a commitment to bridging gaps between government, private sector, and the community.

Led by a dedicated board of directors and guided by a diverse council of advisors, cIUCC ensures that all voices are represented in shaping India’s urban future. We invite policymakers, sponsors, and partners to join us in creating cities that are not only innovative and resilient, but truly inclusive for all.
